Actress-beauty queen Ruffa Gutierrez says her temporary goodbye to her youngest daughter as she becomes a university student.
Becoming a new university student is whole new experience. It may not be the real world yet but lessons learned will come, something that you can use in the real-life setting. However, on the other side of it is the reality that the moment we leave this phase and turn to the next page, you have to make sacrifices and one of them is leaving the family behind.
Recently, in an Instagram post, actress-beauty queen Ruffa Gutierrez expressed her sad but proud moment as her youngest daughter embarks on a new journey as a university. Venice, her youngest daughter, will be going abroad to pursue a bachelor’s degree. She would to stay far away from her to chase her dream but this is something she is putting all her support to despite her sadness.
As per her words, her youngest is set to “spread her wings and begin a new chapter in her life as a university student”. The celebrity mom showed moments from when she sent Venice off as seen on her post shared on August 16.
It’s difficult for her to say goodbye and she’s been ugly crying for an hour during that time but this goodbye is just going to be temporary. She added the hashtags “sad but proud mom” and “empty nester”.
Lorin and Venice are her daughters with her ex-husband Turkish businessman Yilmaz Bektas. They have patched things up already and their daughters have previously reconciled with their father already.
Ruffa also left some sweet reminders for Venice: “Be a good girl, study hard, and always pray. I love you.”
In a note for her eldest, she told her to be a caring big sister and to visit Venice when she has the time.
