This is what Lea Salonga said about the BINI’s post.
Broadway Diva Lea Salonga re-shared the post of BINI Gwen about their fans and here’s what she said about it.
Most fans are understanding but some just could not find where to draw the lines. The entitlement surfaces to the point that the personal time of public figures become compromised just because they want to do something. They cross boundaries.
In a previous article, BINI Gwen Apuli’s post about fans went viral. She lamented about how some fans could not seem to see the line of boundaries between the time they perform and the time they spend for their personal life.
“Nakakalungkot, palala na [nang] palala,” she expressed in her post which was agreed by other BINIs such as Aiah Arceta and Maloi Ricalde. They stressed about privacy, respect, and rest. They hope people can understand their need for some personal time and respect this.
While they appreciate the support, they also need some privacy and respect and to knock their door for a photo with them seem to not align this. According to Gwen, some fans went to their doors to ask for a picture.
Broadway Diva Lea Salonga reacted to this and she believed the same. She re-shared the post of BINI Gwen highlighting “respect boundaries”.
She would be hated for saying this but she said it anyway that the entitlement of the said fans of BINI and the disrespect are just too much.
“The ladies of BINI are human beings,” she wrote.

Last year, Lea experienced fans going to her dressing room which for her showed rudeness and disrespect. She insisted on respecting her personal space and explained what they can do to have a photo opportunity with her.
