PARIS OLYMPICS ATHLETES HOMECOMING – Here are the foods prepared for the athletes during their dinner with President Bongbong Marcos in Malacañang.

Twenty-two Filipino athletes represented the Philippines in the 2024 Paris Olympics. The performance of PH in this year’s Olympics is undeniably its best performance — bringing home four (4) Olympic medals.

Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo won two (2) Olympic gold medals for the Philippines and boxers Nesthy Petecio and Aira Villegas won Olympic gold medals for the country. The Philippines is the best-performing Southeast Asian country in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Carlos Yulo is also the first Southeast Asian athlete to achieve a double gold win in the Olympics. His first gold win was in men’s floor exercise while the second was in men’s vault exercise.

Caloy’s two (2) gold medals in the 2024 Paris Olympics were achieved by the Filipino gymnast just hours apart. The Filipino nation rejoiced for the pride and honor that he has brought the country.

The Philippine government and several private entities vowed to give Carlos Yulo at least Php 33 million cash rewards, a house and lot in Tagaytay, and several others. Megaworld also pledged to give Carlos a condo unit worth Php 32 million with fixtures and furniture included.

A grand Hero’s Welcome was prepared for the homecoming of the 22 Filipino athletes who represented the Philippines in the 2024 Paris Olympics. They met Pres. Bongbong Marcos and had a dinner with him and First Lady Liza Marcos in Malacañang.

At the Paris Olympics Athletes Homecoming dinner, the menu included a salmon belly sinigang flavored with kamias based on a report of GMA News, The athletes were also served US angus rib-eye with mechado sauce served with sweet mashed potato and sautéed French beans.

The dessert at the dinner included pistachio macarons and flourless chocolate decadence cake. For the drinks, the athletes have the choice among juice, coffee, and tea.

The Filipino athletes who represented PH in the Paris Olympics will get Php 1 million each from the office of Pres. Bongbong Marcos. Other government offices also pledged cash rewards for the athletes.
