Optimum Star Claudine Barretto revealed that her fans, called Claudinians, in Cebu, were scammed.

Claudine caught the attention of the online community just recently because of her cryptic posts. The actress hinted at someone she had conflict with just recently who she even called “ahas.” In her now-deleted post, she said that she trusted a person but did something wrong to her kids and her fans.

Amid this issue, netizens started speculating that she is having a rift with her “BFF” former TV host Janelle Jamer. The two female celebrities have been friends for many years already.

Janelle confirmed in an interview that her friendship with Claudine is going through a rough time also. However, she stressed that she did not do anything wrong to Claudine’s children or to her fans.

On August 13, Claudine Barretto shared a post on her Instagram page. She announced that she would have an IG Live to address the issue in which there were other people will speak also who involved in the issue.

She wanted to clear the issue because Claudinians in Cebu risked a huge amount of money for a supposed project in which they could spend time with their favorite star. “I will not name this person but d ko rin para i-tolerate sya na di na ma contact at di na ibinalik ang pera ng mga claudinians na investors,” the actress wrote in her post.

Claudine also said that the person promised to return the money to her fans but this did not happen. She also said that she does not to have a conflict with anyone but she can’t bear the fact that her fans were compromised because of this issue.

The actress said that she is ready to defend and support the people who have been very supportive of her for many years now.

However, Claudine Barretto was not able to have her Instagram Live on the night of August 13 because she said she had a high fever.
