Vice Pres. Sara Duterte Ranks 1st on Oculum Research’s Election Survey

SARA DUTERTE – The Vice President topped the list of Oculum Research’s survey on preferred presidential candidates for 2028.

In the Philippines and even in other countries, ahead of the presidential election, there are already prospect bets of many people. These individuals are usually identified through surveys held by the different opinion polling bodies.

Recently, in the Philippines, Oculum Research and Analytics held a non-commissioned opinion survey on the presidential bets for the 2024 National Elections. Based on a report on GMA News, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte topped the results of the potential presidential bets for 2028.

Duterte got a 25.4% voter preference which made her rank first in the survey of Oculum Research and Analytics. However, based on the report, it is lower than the 42% voter preference she got in the first quarter survey.

In the latest poll, Senator Raffy Tulfo landed in the second spot followed by former Vice President Leni Robredo and then Senator Imee Marcos, former Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, and former Senator Manny Pacquiao. Here’s the list:

Based on the report, the results of the survey showed that 20.4% of the respondents are still undecided on who they will support in the next national elections. However, amid her lead, Duterte is currently faced with several issues.

Vice Pres. Sara Duterte earned bashing after Philippine National Police or PNP chief Rommel Marbil exposed that Duterte has 358 AFP personnel and 31 PNP cops for her security detail.

The Vice President was also bashed after the OVP confirmed that Duterte left the Philippines amid the onslaught of Typhoon Carina. She went on a personal trip with her mother, husband, and children.
