Chinese-Filipino Singer Jose Mari Chan Sings Christmas Songs ahead of ‘ber’ Months

Recently, ahead of the Christmas season, Jose Mari Chan serenaded the crowd in a mall in Makati. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the Chinese-Filipino singer sang as part of the “holideals” campaign of Metrobank.
The singer who is tagged as the Father of Christmas Songs in the Philippines serenaded the mall crowd with his Christmas hits — Christmas in Our Hearts, A Perfect Christmas, and A Child Again at Christmas.
Aside from his Christmas hits, Jose Mari Chan also sang Beautiful Girl and Please Be Careful with my Heart. Based on the report, the Chinese-Filipino singer jested to the crowd expressing his quest on why Metrobank has chosen him to sing in their campaign event.
“The start of the Christmas season, I don’t know why they chose me to sing,” Chan said.
According to the Chinese-Filipino singer, when the Christmas season comes around, he becomes like a child again. Based on the report, Metrobank officials said that they chose Chan to show the Filipino people that they should now prepare.
Metrobank’s Chief Marketing Officer Digs Dimagiba suggest the public to make financial resolutions as early as August so it will be “actionable and realistic”. According to him, the planning on the use of Christmas bonuses or money should be realized early.
