In an interview, Julia Barretto says she is proud of her boyfriend’s rescue efforts during the typhoon.
ABS-CBN actor Julia Barretto is one proud girlfriend of her boyfriend Gerald Anderson but admitted that she got worried.
Kapamilya star Gerald Anderson was among those who risked their lives to help the victims of Typhoon “Carina”. His photos and videos circulated online and netizens commended him for being consistent when it comes to helping people at times of disasters like this.
Gerald rescued a stranded family along with other people. He is a Philippine Army reservist and way back in 2009, he also helped victims of Typhoon “Ondoy”. It is indeed a heroic deed to put yourself at risk to help others and his girlfriend Julia Barretto recently spoke about this.
According to the actress, she is proud of him but at the same time, she did not deny the fact that he got her worried. She shared her thoughts about this during a contract signing event in Quezon City.
She was worried about his safety. The actress said, “As much as it was a proud moment, of course, I was really, really worried.”
Despite her worries, she takes pride in Gerald’s dedication to help the people. She added that by nature, it is just who he is and whatever people saw, it was his genuine heart.
Meanwhile, Anderson and Barretto have been dating for over three years now since their official announcement. The couple is private over their personal life and would seldom share details about their plans and their relationship.
In his recent interviews, the actor said he already sees Barretto as the one he will marry. For now, he is just letting her do her thing as an actress as eventually, they will get there at the right time.
