College Student Flaunts Seventeen-Inspired Bag as Symbol of Self-Expression
A fourth-year college student from Caloocan City flexed her vibrant bag adorned with accessories from her favorite K-pop boy band, Seventeen.
Recently, an X/Twitter user named Nathalie Nicole Oliveros shared a photo of her Seventeen-inspired bag. The post immediately spread like wildfire on social media and garnered various reactions from the online community.
Oliveros proudly revealed that she has been a fan of SVT since last year and chose her bag to represent the group’s signature colors, “rose quartz” and “serenity.” She explained that she had long wanted to purchase this bag.
With the new school year approaching and it being her final year as a student, she decided now was the perfect time to get it.
“Matagal ko na gustong bilhin ‘yan and since magpapasukan na and last year ko na as a student, I decided to buy it,” Oliveros said.
The female student also mentioned the trend of keychains, which led her to add some to her bag to express her individuality.
“Nauso [rin] kasi ‘yung mga keychain ngayon, so bumili and naglagay ako ng keychains sa bag ko kasi I want to express myself,” she added.
The bag is more than just a stylish accessory for her, it represents her deep connection to Seventeen. She shared that the band’s music and their show, “Going Seventeen,” have been major sources of comfort and support.
Whenever she feels overwhelmed, she turns to their songs and the show to boost her mood and mental health.
“Whenever I feel like giving up, I listen to their songs […] They’ve helped me a lot with my mental health kasi pinapanood ko din sila sa ‘Going Seventeen,’ which is a comfort show for me,” she shared.
