Lawyer of accused GMA contractors had this statement on Sandro Muhlach Issue
Sandro Muhlach Issue – Atty. Maggie Abraham-Garduque, the legal counsel of GMA independent contractors Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz, released a statement on the complaint filed by the son of Nino Muhlach.
The Sparkle actor officially filed a complaint against his alleged abusers. Reportedly, the incident happened after the GMA Gala 2024 when accused Nones and Cruz invited Sandro to their hotel room. Allegedly, they forced him to drink a substance that made him fall asleep and the alleged abuse happened.
Amid this issue, Sandro received support from the online community. His name became a trending topic on social media.
In a recent report from GMA’s primetime news program 24 Oras, the legal counsel of Nones and Cruz released a statement.
Atty. Abraham-Garduque said that her clients are deeply saddened by the accusations against them that are circulating on social media. The lawyer stressed that the accusations are not the same as the “true accounts of the event.” Despite this, their camp will reserve their right to respond in a proper forum after they receive the formal complaint from Sandro’s camp.
The lawyer said that they asked the public to respect the investigation that is still being conducted and they asked the people who do not know about the incident to refrain from sharing posts online without basis and are defamatory allegations.
Meanwhile, Sandro Muhlach’s father Nino Muhlach promised that he would talk about the issue once they finished filing a criminal case against the accused. Prior to this, the seasoned actor shared a fiery post saying that other people have started this and he will be the one who will finish it. Sandro’s relatives also condemned the alleged abused that happened to him.
