According to DBM Secretary Amenah Pangandaman, the budget that the Office of the President requests for his trips in 2025 is P94 million or eight percent lower than the budget allocated for his trips this 2024. This year’s travel fund for Marcos is at P1.148 billion.

During the briefing in MalacaƱang, Pangandaman said that the proposal of the Office of the President regarding Marcos’ 2025 trips comes with reduced local and foreign trips. Meanwhile, based on the report, the DBM guarantees the public that they will continue to market the country as an investment destination to investors.

According to Pangandaman, there were already memorandum of understanding and agreements signed by Pres. Bongbong Marcos last year and they would just make a follow-up to ensure that the investment is pushed through.

During his 3rd State of the Nation Address which was held in Batasang Pambansa last July 22, the President spoke on the targets of his administration as well as certain decisions. Marcos has decided to ban POGO in the Philippines amid the Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators’ operations being linked to several illegal activities.
