PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Tuesday (July 30, 2024)

PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported fair and warm weather will prevail over most parts of the country.

On Tuesday (July 30, 2024), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The southwest monsoon and localized thunderstorms will affect the country’s weather conditions.

PAGASA weather specialist Rhea Torres reported that the Southwest Monsoon will bring heavy rains that may be experienced in different parts of the country.  Habagat will be affecting the western section of Luzon while localized thunderstorms are affecting the rest of the country.

The southwest monsoon will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Ilocos Region and Zambales. Possible flash floods or landslides are expected in these areas due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are expected over Metro Manila, the rest of Cordillera, Tarlac, Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite, Batangas, and Occidental Mindoro.

Flash floods or landslides are possible in these areas during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will be slight to moderate. No gale warning was raised over any of the country’s seaboards.
