In a new video, Heart Evangelista shares her reunion with the Asuncion family, the family that made her cry many years ago.
Life really has ways of showing us thing we often take for granted. One example for that is that it doesn’t take so much money to be so much happy. Most of the time, we can find happiness with what have and these are overlooked sometimes by people who always have so much.
Many years ago, Kapuso actress Heart Evangelista cried because of the Asuncion family. This family was featured in “Follow Your Heart” and she was able to experience firsthand how the family survives. She helped in cooking the “sardinas” which will cover all of them.
She tried so much not to cry in order not to let them feel that they are pitied because despite of what’s lacking, they are happy. She cried as to how possible it happened but it also served as a lesson for her. The actress learned the other form of contentment.

Many years after, they were reunited. She is now the head of the Senate Spouses Foundation. As the head, Heart led the packing and distribution of goods in Marikina following the wrath of Carina. She is one of the celebrities who extended help to the Carina victims.
They have not seen each other for a long time but fate has made their paths crossed again. Her reunion with the Asuncion family during the charity event was recorded and it made her feel nice to see them again after many years.
“It was so nice being with the Asuncion Family,” she expressed in her new post.
