The job offer comes after a video showed the waiter being forced to stand for nearly two hours in front of a complaining LGBTQIA+ customer. The netizens were moved by the waiter’s professionalism despite the challenging situation.
The video shows the waiter standing silently in front of writer Jude Bacalso, who was upset over how he was addressed. According to witnesses, other restaurant employees were unable to intervene, as Jude was believed to have connections with the restaurant’s management.
Many people felt that the waiter was unfairly treated and hoped he would find better opportunities elsewhere. As a result, several business owners stepped forward with job offers. Among them was Joel Torres, who offered the waiter a position as a supervisor at his barbershop or even at his travel agency.
Torres praised the waiter’s calm behavior, despite the uncomfortable situation he endured. The most surprising offer came from abroad.
