Rumors surfaced that Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde broke up
Veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez reacted to the rumors that celebrity couple Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde broke up.
Maine and Arjo tied the knot in July 2023. Last June, the couple shared their fun beach vacation. They would share sometimes their travel and bonding moments. Despite their sweetness, rumors surfaced online about the status of their relationship.
In a recent episode of Showbiz Update, the YouTube talk show of talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz, they talked about this issue.
Ogie’s co-host Tita Jegs shared that a friend saw Maine’s tweet saying sorry to her mother-in-law Sylvia. However, when that friend looked for it again, the tweet was already deleted.
Then, the talent manager-vlogger shared a story reached to him that Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde broke up. With this, he opted to ask Sylvia Sanchez to clarify the rumors.
Based on the message sent by the veteran actress to Ogie, there is no truth to the breakup rumors. Sylvia shared that the couple just come from Bangkok with Maine’s family. “Yan talaga ang hindi totoo, masaya ang mag-asawa,” Sylvia said to Ogie.
When Ogie mentioned to Sylvia the deleted tweet, the veteran actress said, “Hindi, baka iba yun.” With this, Tita Jegs said that so, it means that there was indeed a deleted tweet. Ogie answered that he did not know about this anymore and that he did not want to add to what just Sylvia told him.
Tita Jegs had an additional rumor about Arjo and Maine. Allegedly, there was a third party and it was speculated that the actor had a child with another actress. “Narinig ko lang naman,” Tita Jegs said. With this, Ogie’s co-host Mama Loi said that the rumors are getting crazier.
As of this writing, Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde haven’t spoken yet about their rumored breakup.
