Veteran Actress Nadia Montenegro Speaks on Love for Former Caloocan Mayor Boy Asistio
NADIA MONTENEGRO – The veteran actress revealed what happened when she found out that her late partner, former Caloocan Mayor Boy Asistio, had another woman.
One of the popular actresses in the Philippine showbiz industry is Nadia. Like other celebrities, she had her share of intrigues and rumors. She started young in showbiz and many events in her life happened before the public’s eye.
It is no secret to the public that the late partner of Nadia Montenegro, former Caloocan Mayor Boy Asistio, is way older than her. She was only 17 years old when she fell in love with the then mayor of Caloocan City. Nadia was also rumored to have a daughter with Baron Geisler named Sophia.
Recently, Nadia appeared on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda. She spoke about her life with former Caloocan Mayor Boy Asistio and how she fell in love with him.
Nadia Montenegro admitted that there were men of her age courting her then when the then Caloocan Mayor Boy Asistio also took the chance to make her fall in love. She believes it was fate that it was him whom she ended up with.
According to the veteran actress, the “persistence” of the former Caloocan Mayor played a big part in her falling in love with him. Their relationship was blessed seven (7) children. The actress knows that Boy is known to many as someone who had women in his life. He has 21 children including his 7 biological children with the actress.
During the interview, Nadia Montenegro admitted that what she knew then when then-Caloocan Mayor Boy Asistio was courting her was that he and his live-in partner were over and he was not with anyone.
“Not knowing after, meron pa pala. Pinanindigan ko na, Tito Boy. I never gave up on him,” the actress said.
During the interview, Nadia described her late partner as someone who will always be fair and will do things in a way that no one will get hurt and be of disadvantage. He was always proud of her.
“I don’t think there is gonna be another man like him,” the actress said.
According to Nadia Montenegro, within the 29 years that they were together, he never got angry at her or spoke bad words to her. She stressed that he never cursed her or call her names and it is even she have gotten mad at him.
As a father, Nadia described Boy as “the greatest”. She revealed that he was always present everytime he can in the special events of their children and he was the good cop but he is strict when it comes to her daughters having suitors.
When asked to give a message for Boy Asistio, Nadia Montenegro thanked her late partner. During the interview, the veteran actress expressed that she could not see herself with anyone else and she thanks him for accepting her despite her mistakes. She knows she is blessed for having him as a partner.
Former Caloocan Mayor Boy Asistio died in 2017. Nadia Montenegro is relieved that they had a closure as they have talked for more than two hours two weeks before he died and it was the conversation they never had in the 29 years that they were together. They asked forgiveness from each other and recalled the moments they shared.
