The manager of Ivana Alawi reveals why she will be removed from the series.
ABS-CBN actress-vlogger Ivana Alawi will be removed from the series and according to her manager, this is the real reason why.
Coco Martin’s Batang Quiapo series is currently one of the most-viewed series online. Currently, one of its stars is actress-vlogger Ivana Alawi who entered the story when Lovi Poe left. She is playing the role of Bubble whose character touches the romantic angle with Tanggol.
In a previous article, it’s been rumored that Ivana is removed from BQ because of her attitude. However, there’s no confirmation about this yet. But recently, her manager Perry Lansigan addressed the rumors and revealed the real reason behind as to why she is leaving the well-loved series.
DJ Jhai Ho spoke with Lansigan through the program ‘Showbiz Sidelines’ and according to the manager, Ivana’s initial commitment with the series should only last for three months. However, the pair up with Tanggol clicked which led to the extension of her work.
She got extended several times but as of current, Ivana’s schedule is really jam-packed due to the prior commitments made before saying “yes” to the series. This forces Bubbles character to leave the series adding that significant adjustments were already made for the series.
Lansigan also denied the rumors about her doing her final taping as she is scheduled to shoot until July 12. There’s also no truth to the stories about Ivana’s “attitude” in the set.
Meanwhile, as the talks about Ivana leaving the series continue to circulate online, a teaser from the series has been released. In the teaser, it looks like there will be a new female character. This character was riding the motorcycle and the viewers immediately recognized that it was Kim Domingo just by looking in her eyes.
The series, on the other hand, is yet to confirm this. They are also yet to release a statement about Ivana’s alleged removal from the series.
