Jennylyn Mercado Allegedly ‘Medyo nagselos’ Because of Marian, Bea

A source revealed this about Jennylyn Mercado

Kapuso actress Jennylyn Mercado allegedly “medyo nagselos” because of her fellow GMA stars Marian Rivera and Bea Alonzo.

Jennylyn and Marian are homegrown talents of the Kapuso network while Bea transferred to GMA from ABS-CBN in 2021. In March, a rumor surfaced that Jennylyn would transfer to the Kapamilya network.

The rumor was hyped up when she was not seen in the Kapuso station ID. To recall, Jennylyn’s husband Dennis Trillo slammed that rumored network transfer by asking if ABS-CBN still exists.

In an episode of Showbiz Update, talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz shared that a person from ABS-CBN clarified that there was no offer for Jennylyn Mercado and this was because of the Kapamilya network’s respect to GMA.

The Starstruck’s first Female Ultimate Survivor signed with Star Music, ABS-CBN’s music label, only for her singing career.

However, social media personality @AttyLiletMatias on X, formerly Twitter, claimed that her reliable source revealed that Jennylyn approached ABS-CBN early this year for her singing career.

The deal with Star Magic was finalized and they signed a contract. Then, Jennylyn’s management negotiated with ABS-CBN for the actress’s plan to transfer.

However, the Kapamilya network did not give a go signal to this because of Jennylyn’s high talent fee. On the other hand, the negotiation was not fully closed, it was just set aside.

Allegedly, amid the talks between ABS-CBN and Jennylyn’s management, it was alleged that the latter was also negotiating with GMA to increase its offer to Jennylyn.

Kasi di ba home grown artist siya (Jennylyn) sa GMA tapos and highest paid nila ngayon si Bea at Marian. Medyo nagselos si Jennylyn dun so she decided to transfer,” the social media personality shared. Later on, ABS-CBN learned that the management of the actress was just using them in order for GMA’s offer to go higher.

The social media personality also said that Ogie’s source was right but it was not true that there was no negotiation. “Meron, hindi lang talaga natuloy,” the post stated.
