Recently, an online seller named Mitch experienced a disheartening situation when a customer tricked her on Facebook. The customer used deceitful tactics to take advantage of her services.
According to Mitch, a customer named Nicole ordered a cake for her second-anniversary celebration with her boyfriend. Once the cake was ready, Nicole requested a picture of it. Mitch, thinking nothing of it, sent the photo to Nicole.
To Mitch’s surprise, she soon found herself blocked on Facebook by Nicole. Later, she discovered the picture of the cake on Nicole’s Facebook My Day, complete with the caption: “Cheers to 2nd Anniversary Love, I Love You.”
Mitch explained that Nicole never picked up the cake because she had run out of money. This left Mitch with a finished product that was never paid for or collected, showing the challenges and risks online sellers face.
