Bimby is the son of media personality Kris Aquino and basketball player James Yap. Their relationship might not have worked out but there’s Bimby, the greatest thing Kris got from their relationship despite the heartbreaking split.
Yap and his son with Kris seemed to have a rocky relationship but Kris never intervened with this. What she does as a mother is to allow her son to feel whatever he wants to feel and do whatever he wants to do.
In a previous article, Kris expressed that she wants a normal teenage life for Bimby. She was not able to have this kind of life when she was young and she doesn’t want her son to experience the same thing. She wants him to explore and go out with friends just as long as he won’t drink and go out partying in bars and clubs.

In the video, they went to an amusement park. Apart from Bimb being the gentleman always, the viewers also loved Erin and Bimby’s closeness and chemistry. They were loud and comfortable with each other and from time to time, Bimb was even pulling off these “pa-kilig” pickup lines to Erin whom he calls “Hon” in this challenge.
