Jessy Mendiola Returns to Showbiz After 5 Years W/ New ABS-CBN Contract
JESSY MENDIOLA – Celebrity mom Jessy Mendiola is making a comeback to showbusiness after a five-year break.
Jessy Mendiola, a Filipino actress, product endorser, and model, was introduced by ABS-CBN as part of Star Magic batch 15. She gained fame by starring in the Filipino adaptation of the Mexican telenovela ‘Maria Mercedes.’
Jessy is married to actor and TV host Luis Manzano, son of showbiz icons Vilma Santos and Edu Manzano, and they have a child named Isabella Rose, also known as Baby Peanut.
After a five-year hiatus, Jessy Mendiola has rejoined the entertainment industry by signing a new contract with ABS-CBN. During the signing, she expressed her surprise at her return to showbiz, stating, “Parang tinanggap ko na hindi na ako babalik and that’s okay with me. Kasi I am really happy with, of course, my family.”
“Talagang hindi ko in-expect and I am really, really grateful. Tinanggap nila ako after a very long time. I think dito naman talaga, this is my home. It feels good to be back,” she added.
Jessy Mendiola expressed her gratitude towards ABS-CBN for making her feel valued. She said, “I feel very special. Hindi ko in-expect na ganoon kadami ang nagmamahal sa akin. Grabe ‘yung support system ko. It’s been five years since my last big event. ABS-CBN has my back at palagi akong inaalagaan”
“And Star Magic hindi pa rin talaga nagbabago ang alagaan. It’s never too late to chase your dreams. Finally, natupad ‘yung dream ko na magkaroon ng family. Ngayon ‘yung dream naman ni Jessy and itutuloy ko,” she added.
