A fir tree that was cut in half by a neighbor has unexpectedly become a tourist attraction in Sheffield, UK.
The tree, which stood 16 feet tall and had been growing for 25 years, was divided after a dispute between neighbors Bharat Mistry and the elderly couple, Graham and Irene Lee. The conflict began when the Lees complained about birds nesting in the tree, which resulted in bird droppings on their car and driveway.
Despite Bharat’s attempts to resolve the issue by trimming the tree and offering to install nets, the Lees were determined to solve the problem by cutting the tree.
