The car’s driver told the police that they were coming from España Boulevard in Manila when they encountered the pickup at Welcome Rotonda. The pickup brushed against their car’s side mirror, prompting the car’s driver to chase the pickup and make it stop.

After stopping, the pickup driver took a photo of the car’s driver. The pickup left the scene but returned shortly and the driver fired shots at the car.

Police recovered a shell casing and a bullet from the crime scene. They are now reviewing CCTV footage to identify the driver of the pickup.
