Woman Survives After Lightning Strike Their Home in Nabua, Camarines Sur
LIGHTNING INCIDENT – A woman in Nabua, Camarines Sur miraculously survived after lightning in their home.
Recently, Dessa Cariño Gornal, a Facebook user, shared photos of their WiFi modem after being struck by lightning. The post immediately circulated on social media and elicited reactions from internet users.
In the photos, the Wifi modem and cable got damaged after being struck by lightning. The incident causes damage to some of their devices at home.
Gornal recounted the horrifying experience after a lightning strike hit her home’s Wi-Fi cable and coursed through the electrical lines in the house. The lady explained that she felt the electricity flow through her body.
The victim was barefoot and had just opened the refrigerator when the lightning struck.
Currently, Gornal is in stable condition but she was still traumatized by the incident. She was with her father, sibling, and nephew.
Dessa advises everyone to unplug all appliances during thunderstorms and to always wear slippers to minimize the risk of electric shocks. She also expressed her gratitude to God for giving her a “new life.”
