It’s Showtime: People In ALLTV Surprised By Kapamilya Show?

Is it true that some people in ALLTV weren’t aware of the entrance of It’s Showtime?

On June 17, many fans of the Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime expressed happiness that it is now airing on ALLTV.

The Kapamilya noontime show led by the main host Unkabogable Vice Ganda has definitely gone through a lot. It is known to many that the show had an issue with the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) last year and just recently, they were criticized because of what happened in the segment Expecially For You.

Despite the controversies, the show continues sharing laughter and entertainment with its avid viewers.

The recent blessing that the show received was the chance to have a wider audience because it is now airing on ALLTV which is on Channel 2, the frequency previously occupied by It’s Showtime’s mother network, ABS-CBN.

There was no official announcement from the show and ALLTV, so this came as a surprise to many people.

Based on the article in entertainment writer Gorgy Rula in Pilipino Star Ngayon, some people in ALLTV were surprised as well that the Kapamilya show is already airing on Channel 2.

“Kaya kapag nasa free TV ka, parang bumalik lang ang ABS-CBN 2 dahil halos lahat na Kapamilya shows ay nasa Channel 2 na ng AllTV,” Rula said. He also shared that aside from the noontime show, the network owned by Manny Villar will also air the new version of the kiddie gag show Goin Bulilit.

Regarding the fact that It’s Showtime-ALLTV collab was not announced, the entertainment writer said, “Hindi na-promote nang maayos ang pagpasok ng It’s Showtime sa AllTV dahil karamihan sa mga tagaroon ay walang ideya sa naganap noong Lunes.”

Rula added that these people had no idea about the conversation that happened between ABS-CBN and ALLTV.

Currently, the Kapamilya noontime show is airing on four channels – GMA, GTV, A2Z, and ALLTV.
