Actor Janno Gibbs Laughs at Comparison between Him & Car in South Korea
JANNO GIBBS – The actor reacted to a report of GMA News Online wherein he was compared to a cat in South Korea.
In the Philippine entertainment industry, Janno is one of the most popular personalities. He is an actor, singer, and songwriter who is also known as the son of the late veteran actor Ronald Valdez.
Janno started his career in 1986 as one of the members of the teen variety show That’s Entertainment. He was also one of the hosts of the TV show Small Brothers in 1990. He did a lot of movies as well as songs that are a hit.
Janno Gibbs is married to actress Bing Loyzaga since 1990. Their marriage was blessed with two (2) daughters, Alyssa and Gabby. In December 2023, Janno lost his father, Ronaldez Valdez.
It is the first time for Janno Gibbs to be celebrating the Father’s Day following the death of veteran actor Ronaldo Valdez. Aside from celebrating the Father’s Day without his dad, there is also another rare thing that happened to the actor — he was compared to a cat in South Korea.
One of the news reports of GMA News Online bear a headline comparing Janno with a cat in South Korea — “Pusa Sa South Korea, Kamukha Si Janno Gibbs?!”. Based on a report on Pep, the cat’s name is Masho.
Masho is owned by a Filipino. The actor-singer laughed at the news and said that he does not look like the cat.
“Katawa. Hindi ko kamukha yung pusa! But I’m a cat person so na-appreciate ko,” he said.
However, based on the article, the news did not stop with Janno Gibbs being compared with a cat. His wife, Bing Loyzaga, was also compared with Masho because of his birthmark in her face. Like Janno, even a bit, his wife is never similar with the cat.
