Willie Revillame On His New Show ‘Wil To Win’: “Salamat Wowowin”

Willie Revillame bids goodbye to ‘Wowowin’

Veteran TV host Willie Revillame thanked his former show Wowowin as he announced his new show Wil To Win on TV5.

For many years, Willie’s Wowowin gave entertainment and amazing prizes to the viewers when it was airing on GMA. When the TV host decided to transfer to ALLTV, he carried his show with him and the social media pages under its name.

Last April, it was officially announced that Willie signed a contract with TV5 that aired his show Wowowee before he transferred to the Kapuso network. With this new opportunity that the Kapatid network gave Willie, he expressed gratitude for the second chance.

It was mid-May when the Win Girls, the co-hosts of Willie Revillame, were introduced to the public. They are former Showtime Online U host Ana Ramsey, beauty queen-online personality Queenay Mercado, and social media personality Inday Fatima.

Just recently, Willie had a Facebook live stream, based on the article in Inquirer, announcing that he is saying goodbye to his show Wowowin as he introduced his new show.

The veteran TV host became emotional. His journey in his former show was shown. With his breaking voice, Willie said, “Salamat Wowowin.”

For almost seven years, araw-araw ko kayong kasama sa GMA. Maraming pagsubok, maraming nangyari; may luha ng kaligayahan, may luha ng hinagpis na araw-araw kong nararamdaman,” the TV host who is fondly called Kuya Wil shared.

He apologized for being emotional as his former show is bidding goodbye. Then, he teased his new show Wil To Win. Willie said that this program aims to help the viewers through cash prizes.

The TV host also teased that they will be giving a brand new car in the pilot episode of his new show. The airing of the launching episode is yet to be revealed. “Hindi po lumalaos ang programang tumutulong sa ating mga kababayan,” Willie Revillame said.

A Grand WINference will be held on June 20 in which the veteran TV host will answer questions from the media and his fans.
