PAGASA Says Fair and Warm Weather Will Prevail Over Most Parts of PH

PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported that fair and warm weather will prevail over most parts of the country.

On Friday (June 14, 2024), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. Habagat and localized thunderstorms will affect the country’s weather conditions.

PAGASA weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio reported that the Southwest Monsoon will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over the western section of Mindanao.

Habagat will bring similar weather conditions over Zamboanga Peninsula, Palawan, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi. Possible flash floods or landslides are expected in these areas due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

The localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will be slight to moderate, according to PAGASA. The weather agency did not raise a gale warning in any parts of the country.

The high-pressure area’s ridge will bring warm and fair weather over most parts of Luzon including Metro Manila.
