Heart Evangelista is enjoying her new role outside of showbiz
Queen of Creative Collaborations Heart Evangelista said that it is fulfilling doing her role in the Senate Sposes Foundation Inc. (SSFI).
Heart has done different roles in front of the camera but in recent years, she also proved that she can remarkably portray the role of fashion icon. On June 5, she officially became the president of SSFI and this new role would allow her to show a different side of her.
Based on the article in Inquirer, when asked about leading the foundation, Heart said that she is familiarizing herself with the ins and outs of her job.
“I’m not so familiar with anything quite political, it’s [Chiz’s] world. Pero now I’ve been there almost every day even if I have my work, I still work a lot for the foundation, doing coordination and meetings, familiarized na ako. Kaya naman,” Heart Evangelista said.
The fashion icon who is still under the management of the GMA network said that she is someone who really takes her job wholeheartedly. She stressed that she is not half-baked when it comes to her job and she is surely giving her 100 percent.
“[My first program] was very fulfilling. I went to a facility in Caloocan, it was a home for the girls, boys, and home for the aged. I’m happy I did that,” Heart shared.
Her husband, Senate President Chiz Escudero said that he does not want to put pressure on her job in SSFI. He said that it is still Heart who will make the decisions and he told her to follow her own barometer.
Amid her new role in the Senate, Heart Evangelista will still do stints in the fashion world. She shared that she will attend the next fashion week but she will balance it with her schedule as the SSFI head.
“Yes, same thing pero it’s a bit busy this season. Hindi ko pa siya pinaplano kasi I’m so busy now. For sure, mage-enjoy ako,” the Queen of Creative Collaborations said.
