Bea Alonzo Refuse To Give Further Details on Breakup w/ Dominic Roque
BEA ALONZO – The Kapuso actress explained why she does not want to speak on her breakup with actor-businessman Dominic Roque.
One of the celebrity breakups that many people didn’t see coming was the split of Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque. The two (2) celebrities were already engaged when they mutually decided to part ways.
Bea and Dominic were together for several years already when the actor-businessman proposed for marriage to the actress. The engagement of Bea and Dominic took place at La Casas Filipinas de Azucar in Quezon City last July 18, 2023.
The engagement of the celebrity couple left countless hearts happy. The engagement was a surprise to Bea as she only thought that she was posing for a photoshoot.
However, after a few weeks of speculations and rumors that they have broken up, Bea Alonzo confirmed her breakup with Dominic Roque last February 11, 2024. In a social media post that left countless hearts broken, too, the actress admitted that it was not an easy decision but some other people have confirmed their split even before they released a statement so they felt the need announce it for their and their families’ peace.
The breakup of the celebrity couple was surrounded by issues, rumors, and allegations. There were gender issues on the part of Dominic Roque as he was linked a male politician and businessman. There were also rumors that a prenup agreement had led to Bea and Dominic’s breakup.
Both Dominic Roque and Bea Alonzo remained mum after their breakup. The actor could be seen focusing on his sports and would often be spotted with family and friends. After teh breakup, Bea took a vacation with her family abroad amid countless issues surrounding their separation.
Recently, in a short interview with GMA reporter Nelson Canlas which was aired in 24 Oras, Bea Alonzo revealed that it was not her who initiated her breakup with Dominic Roque. Nelson asked her again and she confirmed it but she refused to talk about it.
“Let’s leave it in the past, and it’s amicable. Okay naman kami. I think it would be disrespectful to the relationship and to the other person to talk about it,” the actress said.
Bea Alonzo further expressed that her breakup with Dominic Roque is a “very sensitive topic” and she wants to respect it. She also wants to leave what they had in a good way.
A few months after their split, both Dominic and Bea filed complaints against Cristy Fermin who was one of those who talked about their breakup.
