Recently, Mier Karen Delos Reyes, a Facebook user, shared a funny moment when her mother mistakenly put on her sister’s graduation hood backward during the hood and cap ceremony, right before their graduation.
The video shows their mother, in her excitement, placing the hood on her younger sister Annabelle incorrectly. A teacher quickly stepped in to help fix the hood.

Karen, 27, shared that both she and Annabelle graduated on June 7, 2024. Karen completed her Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship, while Annabelle earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting Information System.
The video was captured during their baccalaureate mass and hooding ceremony on June 5, 2024, two days before their graduation ceremony. Their mother was thrilled to see the video trending, not only on Facebook but also on TikTok.
“Masaya po kasi hindi namin ine-expect na magte-trending. Sobrang happy po si mama kapag nababasa ‘yung mga comment lalo na sa TikTok, dami rin pong nagshe-share and heart react,” Karen said.
Karen and Annabelle are happy to have graduated, an achievement they credit to their hardworking mother, who raised them as a single parent. The family’s joy is obvious, celebrating not just their academic success but also the love and dedication of their mother.
