Father, 61; Mother, 41, in San Carlos Welcome Triplets To Their Family
MOTHER – A 41-year-old woman gave birth to triplets with her partner who’s aged 61, bringing their total children to 16.
Having a baby is a blessing — and having three (3) in one delivery is rare but truly bundles of blessings and happiness for the family. Recently, in San Carlos City, Pangasinan, a couple welcomed three (3) bundles of joy.

61-year-old Romulo Perez and his partner, 41-year-old Cecilia Macam were blessed with a triplets. In an interview with GMA Regional TV News, the father and the mother of the babies spoke on their experience and their life after two (2) baby girls and one (1) boy recently joined their family.
Romulo and Cecilia were both widows when they met and fell in love. They were already living together for more than a year when she got pregnant.

Both Romulo and Cecilia earn from making native baskets. The father of the triplets has seven (7) children with his late wife while the mother of the babies has six (6) children with his late husband. They now have a total of 16 children when their children are combined along with the triplets.

According to the mother of the babies, she did not expect to be pregnant with three (3) babies. It was on her 5th month of pregnancy when she found out that she is not carrying only one but three (3) babies. They were very heavy to carry in the womb.
Cecilia admitted that she was really surprised that she was carrying a triplets and she can’t believe it at first. Meanwhile, the parents are happy to welcome the new members of their family.
The couple named their babies Althea, Altheo, and Athena. They have different personalities. The eldest, Althea, cries often while the second-born, Altheo, is a smiling face baby. The youngest, Athena, is a quiet one.
Based on the report, the mother of the triplets admitted that coping with the expenses of having not just one but three kids to raise is challenging. She stressed that as they grow, the expenses also grow. Meanwhile, she and her partner’s only hope is that Althea, Altheo, and Athena will grow up healthy, kind, and God-fearing.
