Xian Lim Attitude was revealed by this director
Director Mark Reyes shared his experience working with the Kapuos actor in the movie Playtime.
To recall, Xian received negative comments on social media after Kapuso Brylle Tabora claimed that the actor was hard to work with and they had a difficult time with him on a project.
However, Xian reacted to this allegation and stressed that he did not know the writer who accused him of having an attitude problem.
The actor said that he even made an effort for his role like what he did in the series Hearts On Ice in which he took ice skating lessons and he paid for it from his own money. Xian also stressed that he just asked for details about his character because it was part of his process to understand the role.
In a recent interview for the movie Playtime, Direk Mark Reyes was asked about his experience working with Xian Lim and the attitude of the actor, based on the article in Pang-Masa.
When asked if Xian had demands, the director said, “Wala, wala, ‘Yung some changes lang in schedule but you’ll understand it kasi nga, ‘Direk can we do this kasi meron akong mediacon for Love. Die. Repeat.’ There’s a reason why we had to schedule but other than that, wala.”
The director also said that Xian did not intervene in the scenes and he did not change the lines and if ever there was, the actor would ask.
“Kung meron man it’s, ‘Direk can I say this kasi I feel comfortable, parang mga ganon.’ It’s a natural flow lang. Ang daming very collaborative ‘yung ano namin. Iyong sinasabi ni Sanya (Lopez) hindi niya makwento kasi punchline ‘yun na siya ang nag-isip eh, na nung nilagay ‘yun tawang-tawa kami na ang ganda. It’s in the context of the ano eh…,” Direk Mark shared.
Meanwhile, Xian Lim spoke about the allegations against him surrounding his breakup with Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu. He debunked the steak issue, as well as the allegation that he called Kim to say that she can now confirm his relationship with film producer Iris Lee.
