Joaquin Domagoso, the 22-year-old actor son of former Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, shared his realizations now that he’s a father.

Joaquin is undeniably one of the most handsome young actors in the Philippine entertainment industry. There is no doubt as his father, former Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, also remains as one of the showbiz personalities that only gets more and more handsome as he ages.

Joaquin Domagoso was part of several hit projects of the GMA-7 including My First Yaya which was truly a successful TV series. It even had a sequel, the First Lady, which aired in 2022.

Since he entered showbiz, Joaquin was paired with several young actresses and has worked closely as well with several veteran stars in the Philippine showbiz industry. He has always been vocal about his pursuit to work hard in his craft — and his sense of purpose and motivation are now complete with the presence of his son.

In May 2022, Joaquin Domagoso and his girlfriend, Raffa Castro, welcomed their baby boy. They named their bundle of joy Scott Angelo. The mother of the baby is the daughter of newscaster Diego Castro.

As a young father, Joaquin was vocal in previous interviews that he is more determined to work now for his family. He also wants to venture different roles in the entertainment industry and he auditioned for the biopic of the late Pinoy singer April Boy Regino. Isko Moreno lauded=Joaquin for being a good father.

During his recent guesting on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Joaquin Domagoso expressed that the coming of Scott Angelo to his life completed his sense of purpose. According to him, he has to do things for himself and his son because he wanted to be a role model to him.

The 22-year-old actor also realized the daily grind of many parents who work 9-to-5 jobs to be able to provide for their children. During the interview, he also reflected on the genuine joy that his son brings his life.

“‘Yung tipong you wake up for your son, you do all these things… Tapos at the end of the day, uuwi ka, hinihintay ka pa rin, all the joys. Yung purpose ko sa buhay, nabuo,” Joaquin said.

With regards to his love life, the young actor is vocal that he wanted to keep things in private but assured that he is “in a very happy place” now. Previously, he and Raffa Castro explained that they are not rushing into getting married as they wanted to prepare for it instead of just doing it because they’re having a baby.
