After Bea Alonzo, Dominic Roque files the same complaint versus the showbiz reporter.
DOMINIC ROQUE – The actor is adding to the list of several celebrities who filed a cyber libel complaint against Cristy Fermin.
In just less than one year, several celebrities have come before the proper venue to file cyber libel complaint versus Cristy Fermin. As much as we all know, Fermin has a channel that serves as her means to spread stories about celebrities and make claims about certain issues circulating in the show business industry. She’s also fond of expressing her opinion and spitting stories from her sources.
To recall, Esther Lahbati filed cyber libel versus Fermin in March. This was during the height of Sarah Lahbati and Richard Gutierrez’s split.
Last May, Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo filed cyber liber against Cristy due to the claims she had about the actress. Apart from Fermin, Alonzo also filed the same case against other personalities and one of them is Ogie Diaz.
A few days after this, couple Sharon Cuneta and Kiko Pangilinan filed cyber libel case as well to the same reporter.
Adding to this list is Dominic Roque. According to statement, Roque’s reason for filing the case is due to her “malicious statements and innuendos” in her YouTube channel “Showbiz Now Na”. He filed this before the Office of the City Prosecutor of Pasig City.
In Alonzo’s affidavit, she said that she was a victim of “false, malicious and damaging information” from the basher and this was discussed by Diaz and Fermin in their channels.
To recall, Roque and Alonzo made headlines last February after she confirmed the end of their engagement. They got engaged last July 2023 and the calling off of the engagement is the end of their wedding plans as well. They are supposed to get married this year.
