Angeline Quinto, Nonrev Daquina Speak on Details about the Wedding in Quiapo Church
Angeline Quinto and her husband, Nonrev Daquina, shared the behind the scenes of their star-studded wedding.
One of the celebrities who got married this 2024 is actress-singer Angeline Quinto who exchanged I do’s with her non-showbiz partner, Nonrev Daquina, at Quiapo church last April 25, 2024. It was a star-studded wedding.
The actress-singer walked down the aisle to her newest song, Salamat Ika’y Dumating, which Angeline dedicated to her husband. Their handsome little boy, Sylvio, was the one who accompanied the actress-singer towards the altar. It was one of the favorite moments of many people at the grand event.
Angeline and Nonrev had a Filipiniana-themed wedding. They also rode the traditional public jeepney from the Quiapo Church to their wedding reception which was held in Manila Hotel.
In a vlog posted on the actress-singer’s YouTube channel, newly-wed Angeline Quinto and Nonrev Daquina shared the behind-the-scene of their beautiful wedding as well as the wedding preparations.
According to the newly-wed couple, the Quiapo Church is significant for both of them that is why they really wanted to get married in the said Church. Angeline used to attend mass at the Quiapo Church with her Mama Bob since she was a child while Nonrev also attend mass at the Church with his father.
With regards to having the wedding reception at the Manila Hotel, thje actress-singer explained that they wanted to match it with their ceremony. They also chose the Filipiniana theme and rode the public jeepney for a really Filipino wedding. According to the actress-singer, they chose between a Kalesa or a jeepney but she cannot rode on the former since she is pregnant.
Angeline Quinto revealed that when it comes to the food, they had a food-tasting and it was Nonrev Daquina who was quite strict with regards to the taste and color of the food. According to the actress-singer, with regards to the design at the venue of the wedding reception, the materials were really bought around the Quiapo Church.
Even the design of the cake of Angeline and Nonrev matches the theme of their wedding. There are fan designs and she really wanted it to be simple so it’s all white.
According to Angeline Quinto, she and Nonrev Daquina did not see each other for two (2) nights before the wedding although they were on the same hotel. The actress-singer really missed her partner.
At the wedding, Angeline revealed she had to urinate at the van before the wedding because of the call of nature. Before she walked down the aisle, when the door opened, according to the actress-singer, that’s when she started to become emotional.
In her vlog, Angeline Quinto revealed that while walking down the aisle, her son Sylvio cried as he got scared when the guests called him while holding cameras. Vice Ganda picked up the boy. When her groom approached her and brought her to the altar, that’s when she was relieved from being emotional.
