The new queen has already been named and crowned. Bulacan’s Chelsea Manalo is the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 winner and she marks history as the first woman of color to represent the Philippines in the international stage which is to be held in Mexico this year.
However, one of the highlights of this year pageant is host Alden Richards.
Netizens noticed the “galit” tone of Alden while announcing the finalists. This ignited memes online and these memes went viral and sensational. This high energy was also noticed by Vice Ganda.

In an interview in 24 Oras on May 24, Alden reacted to the viral memes and expressed that he has nothing against it. He accordingly just equaled the energy and excitement of the crowd, hence, his high energy and loud voice. Instead of getting annoyed, he’s actually laughing at the viral memes.
Meanwhile, in a previous article, MUPH 2024 winner Chelsea Manalo spoke about her victory. She expressed her gratitude to the people who became a part of her journey and be triumphant. She is offering her victory to her parents, her major inspiration in the competition.
In a promise to the Philippines, she vowed to not fail it and to work hard for the fifth crown.
