Kapamilya actress Andrea Brillantes talked about being single now and her realization about love.
Andrea’s love life became controversial at some point. Her breakup with basketball player Ricci Rivero became a trending topic on social media as several versions of speculated reasons for the breakup surfaced online.
Now that she is single, Andrea said that she has no problem with her current relationship status.
The actress said in a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, that she is enjoying being single right now. “Honestly, I’m fine alone. Kahit mag-isa ako, kayang-kaya ko ang lahat,” the actress said.
However, she stressed that this does not mean that she is already closing her heart to love. Andrea Brillantes is still looking forward to sharing her love with someone special in the future.
“Kasi ang love, ang kaisa-isang emosyon na kahit perfect ka na siguro, kapag tinamaan ka ng pag-ibig, puwede kang manghina,” she explained.
Andrea also said that at a young age, she was already exposed to the harsh realities that can happen in a relationship. “Sa pag-separate ng parents ko, klarong-klaro sa akin at the very young age, na mas ikakabuti ng buhay ko at buhay naming lahat kung hindi na sila together,” she shared.
The actress said that this is difficult and back when she was seven years old, she did not understand why her parents stayed with each other when they were not okay already. Then, this was what she realized, “Pero noong na-in love na ako, na-realize ko na ang hirap pala.”
Meanwhile, Andrea Brillantes shared in a previous interview her thoughts about people’s assumptions about her. She said to her critics that despite the negative comments on her, she can say, “Hindi masama ‘yung ugali ko.”
