Darryl Yap talked about his future projects
Director Darryl Yap shared his thoughts on a possible project with actress-vlogger Alex Gonzaga.
Darryl is known for his unconventional movies, In a recent interview, the controversial director recalled the time when Viva let him meet Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo and pitched a possible project with her.
As Darryl’s nature of work was presented, Sarah, who is known for her conservative image, was shocked.
Direk Darryl Yap recalled that Sarah said that she felt like she was traumatized as she was not used to having that kind of project being pitched to her. The director recalled this in a recent interview for his new movie Seoulmate featuring the KimJe tandem of Kim Molina and Jerald Napoles.

During the same interview, Direk Darryl was also asked about the update on Mabuhay Aloha Mabuhay or MAM, the third installment in his trilogy about the life of the Marcoses. He said that the last update that he heard about this was that it would be a mini-series and not a movie anymore.
Then, Direk Darryl shared that one of the future projects that he heard Viva is cooking for him is with Alex Gonzaga. The director said that this would be exciting when this project pushed through.
“Sobrang sabog no’n kasi pareho kaming sira ulo. Given the chance, maybe she’s my next muse,” Darryl Yap said.
Meanwhile, Optimum Star Claudine Barretto was able to meet Direk Darryl and she hoped that she would have the chance to work with him someday.
