Joshua Garcia Sparks Teasing during Press Con for TV Series with Anne Curtis

JOSHUA GARCIA – The Kapamilya actor has something that he found it hard to do to Anne Curtis during the press conference of their upcoming television series.

There are currently a lot of exciting projects that many Filipinos await. One of these is the Philippine adaptation of the Korean drama television series It’s Okay Not To Be Okay. It will be starred by three (3) of the most brilliant stars in the entertainment industry.

Anne Curtis who is returning to doing TV series will star It’s Okay Not To Be Okay with Joshua Garcia and Carlo Aquino. The role that the actress will play in the Philippine adaptation of the Koreanovela will mark the comeback of the actress after more than 10 years of not doing TV series.

It is the first time of Joshua to work with Anne and he feels both excitement and nervousness. The actress is also excited to be working with the young actor as her leading man in the TV series. Undeniably, the former Pinoy Big Brother housemate rose as one of the brilliant actors of his generation.

At the media conference where the project was announced, there is something that Joshua Garcia cannot do to Anne Curtis yet. The Kapamilya actor cannot look straight to the eyes of the actress quite long.

Visibly, Joshua still feels shy to have an eye-to-eye with Anne. The young actor is vocal that it is an honor for him to be working with the actress who is set to make her return to doing TV series.

Joshua Garcia revealed that he and Anne Curtis will undergo a chemistry workship and the media told them that it seems like they don’t need it anymore. During the interview, the actor was quick to answer that he needs it which sparked laughter from the people at the event.

The Philippine version of the hit Koreanovela It’s Okay Not To Be Okay will be directed by Mae-Cruz Alviar. The TV series will premier on Netflix this 2024. Anne will play the character of Emelia “Mia” Hernandez, the Filipina counterpart of Ko Moon Young. Joshua will play as Patrick “PatPat” Gonzales, the Filipino counterpart of Moon Gang Tae.

The actor is vocal that he is now preparing for his role and the preparation includes workout sessions. He admitted that he has not watched the full TV series just the part 1 but jokingly said that when he saw the abs of the character that he will play, he just turned off the TV and continue with his exercise.
