Here’s a timeline of the issue between Bea Alonzo and Cristy Fermin.
BEA ALONZO – The Kapuso actress has filed a cyber libel complaint against controversial showbiz reporter Cristy Fermin.
Last May 2, Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo formally filed a complaint against Cristy Fermin and four other people. It was a cyber libel complaint due to the claims and statements they spread about her online.
Bea filed cyber libel complaint at the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office and she was accompanied by her lawyer Joey Garcia and manager Shirley Kuan. According to her lawyer, she always endured the stories and accusations with “silence, dignity, and grace” but there’s always a limit to one’s patience and now is the time for the actress to do a definitive legal action.
Fermin’s channel to deliver stories about the actress is through their YouTube and this year, out of over 60 videos uploaded, 16 of those are about the Kapuso actress.
The first upload this year was dated January 2024 and it is about the wedding of the actress with Dominic Roque. Fermin and her co-hosts were talking about the venue of the of this big event.
On February 4, 2024, they reported the rumored separation of Bea and Dominic. In this video, Fermin hoped that the rumors were not true no matter what problem the couple were facing.
On February 7, 2024, a video with the title “PULITIKO ANG MAY-ARI NG CONDO UNIT NI DOMINIC? ALAM BA YUN NI BEA?!” was uploaded. In this video, Cristy’s source claimed that Bea had Dominic investigated after she allegedly found out that the condo where the actor is living is owned by a politician.
In the same show, she tackled about the alleged cause of separation which was the prenuptial agreement. In the following episodes, Fermin reported about the rumored benefactor of the actor and the identity of the politician who owns the condo unit of Dominic.
In February 16, 2024, Cristy stressed to the former couple after their confirmed the separation that only if they confirmed it earlier, things would not have gotten bigger.
“Ano ang tawag sa kanya ngayon? ‘Lola Bea, Tiyang Bea, Auntie Bea.’ May nagsasabi pa na, ‘Uy, hindi ka na bata para ganyan ang astahin mo. Hindi ka na spring chicken,’ may mga ganon. ‘Puwede bang ibaba mo naman ang standards mo?’ Parang ang lumabas na kawawa ngayon, si Dominic,” she said.
In the following videos after this, Fermin talked about Bea not being a victim in her split with Gerald Anderson. The other videos that surfaced drag other famous personalities like Bullet Jalosjos, their wedding again despite their confirmed split, and among other controversial things.
