Yasser Marta expressed what he feels about his connection with Claudine Barretto
Kapuso actor Yasser Marta said that what he and Optimum Star Claudine Barretto have is “right love at a wrong time.”
Yasser and Claudine started being close to each other because of their series Lovers & Liars. The actor was seen spending the holidays with the actress and her kids and this garnered speculations that they are just more than onscreen partners.
It was rumored that there was a romantic connection between them. However, in an interview last March, the actress reacted to rumors linking her to Yasser and she shared that her leading man in the series is not courting her. However, she praised the actor for his personality and his acting.
In a recent interview on Sarap Di Ba?, Yasser Marta confessed his feelings for Claudine Barretto. He admitted that he fell in love with the actress. He also said that on a scale of 1 to 10, and 10 being the highest, his closeness with the actress is 10/10.
In a more recent interview on Fast Talk of King of Talk Boy Abunda, based on the article in Inquirer, Yasser said that he hopes he can turn back time. He wished that he and Claudine were of the same age. The actress is 17 years older than him.
“Ako, kung maibabalik ko lang siguro, ‘yung panahon dati na sabay kaming nandito sa industriya, Tito Boy, sana mabalik ko ‘yon. ‘Yung [sabi sa] kanta nga, right love at the wrong time,” the actor said.
Yasser also shared those traits that made him fall in love with Claudine. “Sino ba ang hindi mahuhulog sa isang Miss Claudine Barretto? Napakalambing, napakaganda, lahat ng iwi-wish mo nasa kaniya na,” the actor shared.
Meanwhile, in a recent interview, Claudine said that she is not entertaining suitors because she and her estranged husband Raymart Santiago are still processing their annulment.
