Heart has been in the fashion industry for many years already. In past interviews, she shared that she worked hard for the status that she has now as a fashion influencer/endorser.
For many years, Heart has become an endorser of different luxurious fashion brands and she is one of the constants in international fashion events.
However, when Pia Wurtzbach entered the fashion scene, an issue surfaced between her and Heart Evangelista. It is because the third Pinay Miss Universe is currently working with the Kapuso star’s former glam team.
Heart and her former glam team had a “bad breakup” as issues surfaced when they started not working with each other anymore.
Even international fashion influencer Bryanboy knew the rumored rift between Heart and Pia. It was also inevitable for fans of Heart and Pia to compare one to the other as they are now both in the fashion world.
Just recently, during the 2024 Emigala Fashion & Beauty Awards in Dubai, Pia received the Global Fashion Influencer of the Year Award.
During an event, based on the article in The Philippine Star, Heart was asked to react to this fashion recognition that was given to Pia. The Kapuso star said, “I’m okay, for as long as I have food on my table, thank you, Lord!” She also said, “Yun lang yun.” Heart flashed her wide smile and bid goodbye to the reporters.
Meanwhile, Heart Evangelista that her “kaartehan” had a good effect on her career, especially as a fashion icon. She had done several “maarte” roles before and eventually, she was able to use this in navigating her career in the fashion industry.
