NBI’s Search for Quiboloy Yields No Results

APOLLO QUIBOLOY – The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) team fails to locate televangelist Apollo Quiboloy.

Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, a prominent religious figure and close associate of former President Rodrigo Duterte, is currently facing several arrest warrants related to accusations including child abuse, s*xual assault, trafficking, exploitation, and discrimination.

Based on a report from Philstar, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has called upon Quiboloy, leader of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ ministry, to turn himself in after authorities were unable to locate him in Calinan district, Davao City, yesterday.

NBI agents from the Central Mindanao regional office visited Quiboloy’s property in Barangay Tamayong after receiving reports of vehicles coming and going from the area. Despite numerous efforts, officials were unable to locate Quiboloy in the vicinity. However, his attorney, Kathleen Kaye Laurente, acknowledged the arrest warrant issued against him.

Arcelito Albao, the head of the NBI-Davao region, stated that a combined team consisting of NBI agents, members of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, and other law enforcement agencies, remains engaged in the pursuit of Quiboloy.

The pastor is currently confronting three charges of sexual and child abuse in the Davao Regional Trial Court, along with a case of qualified human trafficking in the Pasay RTC.

According to the report, Albao affirmed that the NBI would continue to monitor Quiboloy’s actions closely, especially since the Bureau of Immigration revoked the accused’s passport. In a previous article, the Philippine National Police (PNP) revoked Pastor Apollo Quiboloy’s gun licenses amid legal charges.
