This is what Angeli Khang said after being accused of the reason behind the split of Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque.
Celebrities Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque have separated after three years together. In the past couple of months, they were by breakup rumors and last February, the split was confirmed by Boy Abunda in one of the episodes of his Kapuso show.
Bea and Dominic ended their engagement which saddened a lot of people online. The couple was expected to tie the knot this year and it looks like no wedding from them is going to happen despite the possible reconciliation.
Previously, among the rumors circulating online as the reason behind their split was Angeli Khang. In the recent interview in “Updated With Nelson Canlas”, the Vivamax actress spoke about this and vehemently denied the speculations. According to her, those stories are “fake news” adding that she and Roque don’t know each other personally.
The baseless accusations led to intense backlash and public scrutiny which caused fear in her. She even had to avoid going out which lasted for a week just to avoid the negative attention she might get once she makes a public appearance.
“Every time po na lumalabas ako, nakikita ko ‘yung mga tingin sa ‘kin ng mga tao na parang hate na hate nila ako. Kaya nung time na ‘yun hindi muna ako lumabas ng one week. Hindi muna ako nagpakita sa lahat,” Angeli shared.
She asserted that these claims are “fake news” and noted that her real-life personality is far from the roles she portrayed in her projects. On the other hand, although in a negative way, she is glad that people know her.
“Pero trabaho lang po—Dominic and Bea, I love you po,” she stated and added that she actually wants to work with them in the future.
