Bongbong Marcos & Wife Liza Receives Commemorative Doll From Jollibee
JOLLIBEE – President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos displays the Jollibee doll and the letter of appreciation presented to him and the First Lady by the food company.
President Marcos received a doll and a letter from the renowned Filipino-owned fast food chain, Jollibee, after enjoying a meal with First Lady Liza Marcos. He later posted a picture on his official social media accounts, where he could be seen happily displaying the gifts while dressed casually in a white t-shirt and shorts.
“Thank you, Jollibee, for proudly representing Filipino warmth and hospitality worldwide! You spread joy to our kababayans wherever they are. We wish you more success, both here at home and around the world,” BBM said in his post.
Jollibee expressed its joy in a letter dated April 23, stating its delight that the First Couple selected and savored “a jolly delicious dinner.”
“We wish to convey our sincere appreciation on behalf of the whole Jollibee organization. Thank you, Mr. President, and the First Lady for choosing joy,” the letter read, a copy of which was also shared by Marcos on Facebook yesterday.
“As a token of our gratitude, please accept this humble gift – our Jollibee doll representing over 45 years of our journey – symbolizing our commitment to provide great-tasting food and to become a proudly-Filipino global brand,” the company said.
On April 21, BBM posted a picture on Facebook featuring himself and Liza, relishing popular Jollibee dishes such as ChickenJoy, palabok, and Champ.
The President mentioned feeling “inspired” to order from the renowned Filipino fast food chain after witnessing New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon visit one of its branches in Manila during his recent official trip to the country.
