Liza Araneta-Marcos Enjoys Date Night W/ Bongbong Marcos
BONGBONG MARCOS – President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos and First Lady Liza Marcos are all smiles at James Taylor’s concert in Manila on April 8, 2024.
During an interview in Bacolod City on Monday, President Bongbong Marcos Jr. mentioned that he had missed two dates with his wife and joked about receiving the silent treatment from her because of it.
Bongbong Marcos expressed his intention to make it up to her upon his return from the United States. “I have missed two dates. So I need to make it up to her when I come back from the States,” he said.
Following this, Bongbong Marcos Jr. and his wife, Liza Araneta-Marcos, took a break from their busy schedule to enjoy a romantic evening at the concert of James Taylor in Pasay City. The first lady shared photos of their date night on social media the next day, emphasizing the importance of spending quality time together.
“Listening to the timeless melodies of James Taylor,” Liza wrote on her social media on Tuesday, using the hashtags #StillRockingAt76 and #IdolForever.
She also posted on Facebook photos of their date night at the Mall of Asia Arena captioned, “An evening with James Taylor.”
They immersed themselves in Taylor’s timeless melodies like “How Sweet It Is,” “You’ve Got a Friend,” “Smiling Face,” “Shower The People” and “Fire and Rain,”, sharing moments of love and enjoyment.
Taylor, in turn, expressed gratitude to his fans for the warm reception and reflected on his return to Manila after a long hiatus.
“It took a very, very long time. Thanks for having us back,” Taylor said.
The President and the first lady have previously attended concerts together, including Coldplay’s performance in Bulacan last January.
