Franklin Tardecilla, an architecture student, shared insights into their collective journey. He revealed that they’re currently in their fifth year, striving to complete their respective thesis projects.
Despite the challenges they face, Tardecilla expressed gratitude for the motivating presence of Mt. Mayon. Mt. Mayon helped them stay motivated and meet their deadlines.
“In a way parang tinutulungan kami [ng Mayon] para mas ma-motivate and mas matapos on time,” Tardecilla said.
Tardecilla went on to explain how the extended screen time in front of laptops can be exhausting, but stealing glances at the beauty of Mt. Mayon serves as a rejuvenating break for them.
“Nakakapagod ‘yung masyadong matagal na screen time sa harap ng laptops, so once na pasulyap-sulyap kami sa view ng Mayon, parang nakakapagpahinga na kami,” he added.
