CENTENARIAN CASH GIFT – A centenarian in Pagbilao, Quezon received a P100,000 cash gift from the local government.

They usually receive a centenarian gift, a one-time cash award of Php 100,000.00 shall be given only to the living centenarian in recognition of his or her longevity.

Recently, Mayor Gigi Portes, together with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office at the Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) rewarded a female centenarian named Isabel Lagata from Sitio Lagpond, Brgy. Binahaan.

Isabel was born on Christmas Day, December 25, 1923, in Sorsogon. Meanwhile, Mayor Webster Letargo of Gumaca, Quezon, announced that senior citizens aged 90 and above will receive cash benefits from the municipality.

Si lola Isabel Lagata ay 100 taong gulang, ipinanganak noong Disyembre 25,1923 sa Sorsogon at kasalukuyang nakatira sa Sitio Lagpond, Barangay Binahaan,Pagbilao Quezon.

Kuwento ni Lola Lourdes Martinez, kapatid ni Lola Isabel na ang pagkain ng gulay at pag inom ng gatas, ang sekreto ng mahabang buhay ng kanilang pamilya.

Si lola Isabel ay may humigit-kumulang sa 60 na apo.

Kaugnay nito pinangunahan ng tanggapan ni Municipal Mayor Ate Gigi Portes sa pamamagitan ni Ginoong Rizaldo Ricafort ang pamamahagi ng cash assistance kaagapay ang Department of Social Welfare and Development Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs sa pamumuno ni Ginoong Ernesto C. Doblon, at Kapitan Enrico Omalin ng Binahaan.
