Marc Pingris became a trending topic on social due to this rumor
Entertainment columnist Dolly Anne Carvajal defended the love that basketball star Marc Pingris has for his wife celebrity Danica Sotto.
Marc and Danica are celebrating their 17th wedding anniversary this year. After many years of being together, they were not involved in any controversy regarding their relationship. However, just recently, the PBA was linked to actress Kim Rodriguez.
The rumors were started by their photos of them taken at the same place. With this, speculations surfaced that they were together. Marc immediately debunked the rumors linking him to Kim.
The actress also denied her rumored romantic involvement with the basketball player. In a comment to a friend’s post, Danica Sotto had a chill reply to the issue. She just told her friend to “kalma.”
Dolly Anne Carvajal attested to how faithful Marc Pingris is to his wife. The Inquirer entertainment columnist shared that the basketball player is known for his closeness to his mom. She even called him a “self-confessed Mama’s boy” who generously shared his success with his mother.
With this, the columnist said that she remembers what her mom said. “As my mom used to tell me, look at how a guy treats his mom because that’s how he will treat you when you marry him,” Carvajal shared.
She also highlighted the fact that Marc has a rags-to-riches story which makes him value the things that money can’t buy. “So, it’s unthinkable that he will keep on looking for something he already found in Danica,” the columnist defended the basketball player.
Carvajal also shared an instance that proved how dedicated Marc is as a husband. There was an instance when they were at James Yap’s party, Marc did not stay long because he said that he and Danica have a usual early morning walk.
The columnist added that when Marc Pingris and Danica were newlyweds, the latter made an effort to find her husband’s French dad whom he never met before. This sweet gesture of the celebrity was a life-changing experience for the basketball player.
With this, Carvajal said, “So, he would never trade the life that he and Danica have built on solid ground.”
