Kapuso actor Paolo Contis was asked if he ever experienced being rumored to be gay and here is his answer to this.
Paolo has his fair share of controversies and issues in the Philippine entertainment industry. In recent years, he was criticized because of his love life. He was bashed when it was confirmed that he and LJ Reyes broke up until his relationship with Yen Santos was confirmed.
Paolo was also criticized because of the issue that he is not supporting his children financially, especially his kids with his ex-wife Lian Paz.
Aside from his personal life, the actor’s work is also being criticized. Netizens expressed negative reactions when he became the main host of the Kapuso noontime show that was eventually called Tahanang Pinakamasaya. Even after the show was discontinued, netizens also bashed him.
In a recent interview on Fast Talk, the Kapuso talk show of King of Talk Boy Abunda, Paolo Contis was asked about gay issues, based on the article in Balita.
Tito Boy asked the actor if he was ever involved in gay issues or rumors about her gender preference. “Wala nga eh, sana nga ‘yon na lang ang natsismis sa ‘kin eh!” Paolo Contis said.
During the said interview, Paolo was with his Tabing Ilog co-star Patrick Garcia who admitted that he courted It’s Showtime host Anne Curtis but she rejected him.
Meanwhile, Paolo Contis expressed openness to work with It’s Showtime hosts. To recall, the Kapamilya noontime show, led by Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda, replaced Paolo’s defunct noontime show. The actor also debunked the allegation that he has “tampo” to GMA. He stressed that he has always been thankful to his home network for all the support he has been receiving for many years now.
